I don’t feel very brave most of the time when I look at myself. The problem, though, is that I am looking at myself! God provides many verses in the Bible that remind us where our strength comes from. Here are just a few.
Psalm 18:1-3 ““I love You, O Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
And I am saved from my enemies.”
Ephesians 6:10-11 “ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.”
Psalm 28:8 “The Lord is their strength,
And He is a saving defense to His anointed.”
2 Thessalonians 3:3 “ But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.”
I hope that these verses encouraged you to be brave today with His strength!
