I want to talk to my fellow planners today. You’re the type of person who wakes up with a plan for each day. You’ve thought through all the options, and maybe have plans for every scenario your mind can imagine. I’m that kind of planner, too. We can get things done, for sure. But sometimes I wonder if I am getting the right things done in the right way.
“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” Proverbs 19:21 ESV
This past year has had a lot of challenges for me, and I would imagine for you, too. For the most part, the way I had the last 12+ months planned was obliterated. But God had His purposes.
For every canceled plan, there was a new plan that was written by Him.
For every unexpected pain, there was a reminder that God was there with me.
For every problem, there was another way God prompted me to trust Him.
Fellow planners, ask yourself what you can learn from the recent past? How can it change the way you regard your plans? Take a few moments to reflect and pray.
I am participating in the #hopewriterlife challenge. Today’s prompt was “Purpose.” Thank you for reading my posts this week.
